Request Data Deletion

How to request removal of your PostDrip account and all associated data.

This action is irreversible

Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before submitting a deletion request.

What Gets Deleted

When we process your deletion request, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your account and profile information (name, email, password)
  • All AI agents and their configurations
  • All scheduled and published post records
  • All stored Facebook Page and Instagram account access tokens, plus the connected Page/account identifiers, usernames and profile pictures
  • Generated images from cloud storage
  • All photos and videos in your businesses' media libraries
  • Team memberships and pending invitations for your businesses (people you invited lose access)
  • Your API keys, and the access of any AI assistants or tools connected with them
  • For agencies: your agency membership and the client businesses in your account
  • Active subscriptions (cancelled via Stripe)

How to Request Deletion

Send an Email

Email privacy@postdrip.io with the following:

  • Subject line: Data Deletion Request
  • Include: The email address you used to sign up for PostDrip

We will verify your identity, process your request, and confirm deletion within 30 days.

Important Notes

  • Published posts remain on Facebook and Instagram: PostDrip cannot delete content already published to your Facebook Page or Instagram account. You can delete those posts directly on Facebook or Instagram.
  • Revoking Facebook access: To immediately stop PostDrip from accessing your Facebook Page, visit your Facebook Business Integrations settings and remove PostDrip. Once removed, the access tokens PostDrip holds for that Page stop working.
  • Revoking Instagram access: Go to Instagram Settings → Apps and websites, find "PostDrip-IG" and choose Remove. Once removed, the Instagram tokens PostDrip holds stop working; to have the stored tokens and account identifiers deleted as well, disconnect Instagram in your PostDrip dashboard or send us a deletion request as described above.
  • Disconnecting inside PostDrip: You can also disconnect Facebook or Instagram from any agent in your PostDrip dashboard at any time; the stored tokens for that platform are deleted immediately.
  • Leaving a team: If you are a member of someone else's business, deleting your account removes you from that team; the business and its posts belong to its owner and are not deleted.
  • Stripe records: While we cancel your subscription and remove your Stripe customer ID from our system, Stripe may retain transaction records as required by financial regulations.
